Heaton House Farm Wedding
How did you both meet?
It is a very cliche story, but we actually met in the gym. I booked Anthony for some personal training sessions, and we became really close friends over a six month period, before he eventually decided to ask me on a date!
What was the proposal like?
Anthony proposed in Mallorca, which as always been an incredibly special place to both of us. He did it under the stars on our 3 year anniversary with just the two of us. It was very low key, but exactly what I’d have wanted.
How did you find wedding planning?
It was really great fun planning the wedding, and I think for the majority of the time I managed to keep the stress under control!! My mum was a great help too. I’d advise other couples to download an app such as Bridebook, as it’s great for finding suppliers and also for controlling your budgets.
Why did you choose Heaton House Farm as your wedding venue?
As soon as we saw Heaton House Farm we knew no other venue would be able to compare. I really wanted a barn style wedding, and Heaton House just ticked all the boxes. My mum even cried the first time she saw the venue as she thought it was so beautiful!
What was your favourite part of your wedding day?
When I saw Anthony for the first time! At that point I felt like all my nerves melted away. We both just loved every aspect of the wedding from start to finish, it was amazing to share the day with so many people that mean so much to us.
What song did you have for your first dance and why did you choose it?
My brother sung ‘Your Song’ by Elton John. It’s a beautiful song, but the most special part was having my brother singing it for us. I think that’s a moment we will never forget.
