Deanwater Hotel Wedding Photography – Jenny + Andy

Deanwater Hotel Wedding Photography

This was the first time I had been to The Deanwater Hotel since a friends wedding there in 2005, way before I was a wedding photographer! At that time I was working in a pub which is where I met Jenny’s sister, Sarah. It was great to be back at The Deanwater to photograph Jenny and Andy’s wedding. The venue and staff were awesome.

Throughout their wedding day, Jenny and Andy never stopped laughing and smiling. Even when the rain came. Here are a few words from Jenny about their Deanwater Hotel Wedding:

How did you both meet?
Andy took me to the restaurant Gusto’s as I’ve always wanted to go, he pretended we were going for a friends birthday but pretended they had cancelled.

What was the proposal like?
He bought champagne and proposed on one knee. Afterwards our family and friends were at andys mum and dads and he had organised a big surprise party for us.

How did you find wedding planning?
Wedding planning was so much fun, wish I could do it all again, tip would be to not have expectations on your wedding dress and go in completely open minded as you always buy the complete opposite to what you want, usually the dress you want doesn’t look right on you.

Why did you choose The Deanwater Hotel as your wedding venue?
We chose The Deanwater as the manger and staff were very friendly and it’s very well recommended, the room was a perfect size for what we wanted. I loved every part of my wedding day.

What song did you have for your first dance and why did you choose it?
Our song for the first dance was ‘Can’t Help Falling In Love’ by Haley Reinhart. The song was because andy really liked it sang by 21 Pilots and I can’t dance so we compromised and had the slow version which was a bit more romantic.

Here are some of my favourites of Jenny and Andy’s Deanwater Hotel Wedding Photography.
