questions?

ARE YOU FULL TIME?

I certainly am. Wedding photography is not just my main occupation, it’s my only one. Being full-time means that I can devote 100% of my time to my couples.

DO YOU TRAVEL?

Yes, I love to travel and have been very lucky to shoot at some stunning venues up and down the country. Travel within 50 miles of Manchester is included. Getting married abroad? Fantastic. Just cover my travel and accommodation on top and I’m there. It usually works out easier than trying to source a local photographer.

HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL WE RECEIVE?

There is no upper limit on the number of photographs you’ll get. I typically take around 1,500 pictures then whittle them down and work my magic, taking out blinks and funny faces to produce at least 400 post-processed images.

HOW CAN I USE MY PHOTOS?

In any way you wish as long it is for non-commercial use. The USB includes High-Resolution images, perfect for high quality prints, canvases etc and Lower-Resolution images, perfectly sized for emailing and uploading to Facebook.

HOW LONG UNTIL WE SEE OUR PICTURES?

It takes around 4-6 weeks to post-process all of your images depending on the time of year. You will see an online preview of your images within a week to whet your appetite.

DO YOU TAKE GROUP SHOTS?

Absolutely. Although I do love the natural shots I will take as many group shots as you want. We will go through this in more detail in the Pre-Wedding meeting.

WHAT IF IT RAINS ON MY WEDDING DAY?

Most people dream of a lovely, sunny wedding day, but rain can be seriously epic if we just embrace it. This is Britain after all! A good photographer will always be able to work around weather and lighting constraints. I am waterproof so I don’t mind getting a little wet. And as they say, it’s harder to untie a wet knot.

MY UNCLE BOB HAS A GOOD CAMERA. COULD HE TAKE OUR PHOTOS?

I would always recommend trusting a professional to take your wedding photographs. Someone who can deal with any lighting, timing, weather and in-laws. A professional will also have the best equipment with back-ups in case something breaks. You only get one chance at amazing wedding photographs, why not trust someone who knows what to look for to produce photos that you will love and cherish for years to come.
Uncle Bob is a great driver, but I wouldn’t want him flying the plane that’s taking me on holiday.

ARE YOU INSURED?

Yep. I have professional indemnity and public liability insurance worth 5 million pounds for your added peace of mind.

THAT ALL SOUNDS AWESOME. HOW DO WE BOOK?

If you like everything you’ve read, it would be great to meet you for a good old chat about your wedding. Just drop me an email or contact me through any of the ways on the next page. If we don’t live close we can always Skype or Facetime. If you decide that you like me and we are a good fit, I just take a booking fee of £400 then we can go ahead and get your date down in pen. The rest of the balance is then due 4 weeks before your big day. Once all of the boring admin stuff is sorted we can get onto thinking about the fun stuff like your pre-wedding shoot.
